Best Gnocchi I've ever had. Hands down. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, even offered to take my grandmother on a tour of a hotel she has known since her childhood. Will be back!
This is a lovely old style hotel with newly renovated rooms with very nice appointments. The sitting area pictures is beautifully decorated and comfortable and the restaurant is very nicely decorated with lots of natural light. The breakfast is top notch. This hotel has a great blend of historical feel and modern convenience and it's very convenient to the center of Cheltenham. You will be dazzled by the huge central staircase that runs up the middle of the hotel, complete with the same wallpaper that supposedly is in the house of parliament.
I cannot praise this hotel enough. The room we stayed in, just before Christmas, was large, airy, well laid out and well stocked with everything you'd expect from a luxury hotel. The hotel looks great inside and and out and the food is fabulous! What really sets this place apart though is the people that work there. I was incredibly impressed by the level of service we received. It struck me that everybody there wanted to be there and wanted to do the very best they could to make our stay a memorable, luxurious experience. I recommend that you stay there this week!
Friendly staff, quiet and decent food. The hotel is an old, listed building full of character, creaks and groans, which I like. Its the antidote to the clinical modern sanitised places of most big chains. Staff are great, friendly, considerate and very helpful. The new General Manager is always visible and keen to know how guests are enjoying their stay- if something isnt right he will sort it.
Celebrating the wedding of my Daughter at Queens was totally magical and so special, we had a fabulous experience. We were very well looked after and comfortable. The rooms were delightful and very comfortable. Breakfast was a delight we had so much choice and it was all delicious. We were made very welcome by"Ben" super cheerful guy and excellent at his job. All the staff were happy and very helpful, will most definitely return for a second visit, love it . *****
