Fairly good hotel, a bit more up market, on a par with Holiday Inn. Rooms are big and warm in the winter, although the walls are thin enough to hear neighbors coughing. The staff are helpful and attentive and should be commended. The restaurant service was slow which is unnecessary, but the menu has a lot of choice and the food is really quite good, tasty and well presented. Large screen TVs in the rooms and fast wifi add to a relaxing stay. Recommended.
Very nice place to stay.... Big clean room and bathroom.. staff were really helpful and friendly. Had a pool, gym and sauna as well. Breakfast was gorgeous...
Very friendly and attentive staff, they have a couple of university placements on at the moment who are doing a year in industry and by the sounds of it the hotel is really investing time and energy in their training etc - great to see.The housekeeping staff couldnt do enough for you and the breakfast staff were lovely. I didnt eat at the restaurant so couldnt comment on the food / quality, but I would say that breakfast (cold fruits) could be improved a bit - there was only melon available, no chopped fruit / orange / grapefruit or berries etc... other than this one thing everything else was fine.Rooms are spacious and clean - lovely comfy bed, desk, chairs etc... the bathrooms were clean but could do with being updated.Great stay overall, free parking and easy access to restaurants / town centre amenities.This was a two night stay on business.
Good modern hotel. Some room fixtures and fittings in the bathroom a little bit battered but generally ok. Staff friendly and car parking currently free (although I wonder how many people have paid using the machine uneccesarily). Hot breakfast is buffet style and mostly fine. Continental breakfast plentiful and varied. A couple of small flights of stairs between the reception and rooms which were a little annoying with a heavy suitcase.
