Stayed at this hotel on, Friday, fantastic service all round.Will be staying there again.Andy his wife and the staff were great nothing too much trouble.The young lady waitress, with the black glasses, in the restaurant was excellent . Great place to stay. Rooms are large and clean, bed was king size and super comfy. Heaps of power outlets and lots of lights, at least 6 in the ceiling plus a standard lamp and 2 bedside lamps. And the best part, the room had a fridge, yes a fridge which seems to be so foreign in the UK, and the US for that matter. They even let me check in early before 3pm which was a bonus as I wasn't feeling the best. I paid 50 for a night including breakfast, and that was great value. Bus stop outside as well, so you can take the 94 bus to Gloucester one way or Cheltenham the other way, 5.20 return.
Excellent efforts by on- the- ground staff to give customer satisfaction. Very courteous staff. Well done by them. Good service, comfortable, clean satisfying accommodation. Good meals, good atmosphere. Very nice stay.
Not the best looking place from the outside (but you can park at the front, which is really good if you've got a baby). However the inside is much better. The rooms are pretty spacious, clean and fairly modern. Eating their on a Sunday evening was surprisingly good, especially as it was pretty quiet. The restaurant and bar are modern, and the bar is open to residents 24hrs. Breakfast was above average, but the fruit selection was disappointing. Bit out of the way, but we'll recommended for an overnight stop.
