The perfect place to walk the dog in a field without leaving the town.
It is a nice place with good field area and a good bike track, the field has a small cricket are and has a series of football goals (removable), good place to spend half a day and very well maintained.
The Burrows is off Moorend Park Road with its own car park and free on road parking. There is a well equipped childrens playground for younger children as well as a bmx cycle track that is popular with all ages. You can walk out the back entrance into Lockes Meadow which is a wild field suitable for dog walking. There is a cricket pitch in summer and football pitches in winter.
Burrows Park has a nice feeling of space with views of Leckhampton Hill. Good for a walk with the dog especially combined with the big field next to it with access to Cheltenham circular walk.
I go to the BMX part of the park with my 6 year old. The older kids can be a little intimidating for the younger ones when it's busy (generally weekends). The tallest jumps are over 5 feet so not for balance bikes! There is a good walking area around the edge and an adjacent meadow for walking dogs too. There's a small car park.
