Friendly staff, friendly place. PT's are excellent. The changing facilities are kept in good order. You can park for 2 hours free at the ncp car park, just ask for details at reception. I'd recommend this to any one.There is a nice swimming pool and sauna you can use after a workout.

DON'T JOIN! DW is just a scam, even after their customers pay an extortionate amount of money per month they literally will not let you quit! They are rude and sarcastic and the customer service is non-existent. Not even a good gym in itself, equipment is ALWAYS out of order, they claim they have 'new' classes, they aren't new at all, just another scam to get more money if people join, staff just mess around and talk amongst themselves, no professionalism in the slightest. They have too many people in the gym so cannot use any equipment, especially when they do fitness weeks where people can use it for free. Just save your money and go elsewhere, it will save you A LOT of money and A LOT of unnecessary stress if you ever want to leave. It's like a never ending battle. Trading Standards have been informed about them from myself and also a lot of other customers judging by the other reviews. AVOID DW AT ALL COSTS!!!
Premium gym, premium price. I thought the steam room smelt bad until I visited the steam room at DW Fitness in Bath, by comparison it appears it's only half as smelly. Seriously though the equipment is good and the staff are pleasant and attentive. Membership will get you 2 sessions with a personal trainer who can show you a program to work to. Swimming pool area is relaxing with a sauna and steamroom (and aside from rotting feet smell in steamroom is actually pretty good).
Edited review: Member for 5 weeks now, some improvements. The first month was not great, there were a lot of things wrong with day to day upkeep of changing facilities and major issue withing the gym itself, many are now resolved after a lot of user feedback so i have deleted them from the review, but the communication of these problems with members was poor and could be improved.Some of the ongoing problems include the showers in the men's that still need maintenance, paint on the cubicle dividers in some cases has faded completely so that you can see other people showering through the walls, missing shelves that have fallen off or are loose, and generally, the standards of maintaining and cleaning the changing areas, as well as keeping them stocked up, although improved quite consistently this week, needs to be permanent.The hot cold shower in the pool area has a lot of calcification in some of the shower heads, so it isn't working as well as it should, a little cleaning of these should fix it up. The Steam room may also have a blocked drain? as there are regularly dirty pools of water on the floor where they are not able to drain away. A little quality of life improvement would be to refit the locker room keys with pins or bands to assist swimmers, many are broken or missing. Its also a little concerning that the hose for the swimsuit dryer seems to be tied to the wall with a plastic bag.Its improving! keep it up. The staff in general are lovely and the gym kit itself is plentiful and appears to be well maintained. Hoping to be able to give this 5 stars at some point in the future.
