We've been to The Ox about 5 or 6 times and we love it. The steak is the best around. The sunday roast is also amazing. Would prefer a couple more beer options but the 1 or 2 they have available are always good.
Mid-priced excellent restaurant specialising in mouth-watering steaks. Cocktails also very good and excellent value at 7-10 quid a pop - old school strong, i.e. you can taste the alcohol (not like modern rip-off variants which seem to have about a single shot for a tenner). Service perfectly pitched - attentive without being over bearing. Love the place - will be back. Check out the website for deals.
