Staff could do with a bit more training on the reptiles though, listening to them tell a woman all the wrong things on bearded dragon care, you cannot keep them on sand! Stop telling new owners that you can, also you keep more than one in a tank, which has led to bitten tails and missing toes.
Friendly, helpful staff. Good selection of products.Just avoid weekends as parking and check out que is appalling. Last time I went on a Saturday the que was at least 20 people long. Seriously under staffed during peak times.
Busy store, was served very quickly, by pleasant young lady, who got some frozen rodents, one of her colleagues had put by for me.Definitely recommend all P@H stores, for pet owners-at least the 2 stores in Cheltenham, and the Evesham branch. Nothing is too much trouble, from advice to assistance. Hope PaH pay their staff well, for their diligence, knowledge etc.
I like visiting Pets at Home, wide variety to choose from for my dog. I also use the Vets which is situated upstairs, great friendly staff who will always try and help. Because it's in a retail park there's plenty of parking spaces, but it gets very busy at the weekends. The run up to Christmas is a nightmare at the weekends so avoid if you can....but the shop is pet friendly I often take my dog with me he loves the attention from the staff. Quite a popular place to go .
