Cracking little shop full of interesting things.
I don't see why it has so many bad reviews, I got a Smiley Piercing done here and it was great, I love how I actually got to talk to the owner instead of just getting pierced and leaving, it's quite a quirky shop as well, interesting things in there, I recommend it
Not a bad shop, a little over priced for what the sell. Many of their crystals are wrongly named and aren't priced to their quality or sizing. The staff vary, one is lovely, welcoming and helpful, the other makes you feel uncomfortable, she's always breathing down your neck, rushing you or talking at you.The shop itself is small but well displayed and tidy.
I went in to have the bar in the rook of my ear changed into a hoop, having had my piercing done here roughy 13-14 months previous. I was charged 10 for this, 5 for the cost of the ring and another 5 for the time and I was told that the second 5 would be going to charity. We went into her little piercing room where she managed to take the bar out with what seemed like very little hassle. When she went change it to the ring it wouldnt go through. She proceeded to keep pushing even though I was crying in the chair and saying stop. When she eventually did stop she said that it would be a good idea to get a needle and put some lube on it to make the hole easier for the ring to go though. I said that I wasnt sure about this but after being convinced to anyway we went though with it. This also really hurt and she again wouldnt stop when asked... In the end I asked for the bar to just be put back in and we forget the whole thing. She wouldnt do this. So I asked for my money back, which I didnt think was a big ask, I went in and paid for a service of which none of it was performed. I was told I could have my money back for the ring but not the time she put into changing the piercing, despite the fact that I was told previously that the second 5 wasnt going to be kept by them anyway... She blamed me and the hot weather for my piercing being infected despite the fact this is my 14th piercing for which Ive never had any problems and taken care of them all so well. In all honesty, I should have been refunded as well for the initial piercing because I have now left with nothing. This women was so mean, rude and cold about the whole situation, I left crying and shaking. This is such a shame because the other women who were working there were so lovely and chatty, a Shop shouldnt be so let down by one women who clearly doesnt know what shes doing when it comes to piercings. At the end of the day its not even about the money, I should have been treated better as a paying customer. 100% do not go here for any piercing, you will regret it.
Fast, good piercing - didn't really get to choose the jewellery, but other than that great service. They also offer anaesthetic but they cool your ear with liquid gas anyway!
