Went for lunch on Wednesday to try new menu.daily specials have changed for the worse, no curry on Tuesday, no fish on Friday very disappointing.had the Wednesday pie and pint BUT steak an ale pie is exactly the same as before,again disappointing.cant help feeling that new menu is a bit of a cheapskates menu shame.pub is nice but chilly on our visit, TV,s all show sport,shame.nice staff good service but uninspiring new menu let's it down.
Lots of screens good for watching sport and having a pint.
Staff was extremely helpful with our booking and food was above our expectations, especially for the price.

Always enjoy going in for for a curry, its reasonably priced and the Guinness is always good. Not been in at night though, can imagine it gets very busy. Staff are attentive if sometimes a bit over bearing.
