Olive is a great trendy boutique ! The clothes are well made and definitely stylish! One of my favorite places to shop!!!
I love shopping in Olive. The staff are always very friendly and welcoming and offer genuine advice and opinions without any pressure-selling. The pieces Ive bought have washed and worn well and I can always find something just a bit different.....one of my favourite shops.
Items are lovely, but one of them (a skirt) was sent in the wrong size (packaging and receipt were different to actual skirt and tag), and the shipping took a lot longer than expected. Might check out the store next time Im in England, but Im now a little sceptical of the site as an international customer.
I've bought items both from the boutique in Cheltenham and online. I love their style and their marketing.For the price, the quality is hit-and-miss. I've bought a couple of thick t-shirts which I wear multiple times a week and they're lasting extremely well. I also have a dungaree dress which is very substantial and good quality.BUT I've been disappointed numerous times with the poor finishing and care to some of the items. I've had seams of dresses (bought for 70) fray and fall apart after two wears, buttons fall off jackets and t-shirts which begin bobbling after one wash. Honestly the way these lovely items fall apart, it's really sad. Maybe I've been really unlucky.It's a real shame because there's a lot of thought put into their brand, styling, fabric choices etc but not enough put into the actual finished products. C'mon guys, step it up!
Beautiful clothes, outstanding people!! Olive boasts of the most courteous, professional and humane customer service team I have ever dealt with, and as an avid online shopper, I encounter many and have had a handful of very unpleasant experiences. I knew nothing about this retailer when I made my purchase 2 weeks ago, and now I can't recommend it enough. My parcel was expedited immediately, but unfortunately got stuck in the system for a while. I contacted their team after about a week with no updates to the tracking. I received a new parcel (minus a sweater that was out of their current stock) in less than 48 hours. I was told I could keep the sweater once the original parcel reached me. Seriously? -- a free sweater? I guess there's a first time for everything. Well, finally, did get the package, what a pity the sweater was too snug (postpartum issues!), and the other items were too big (I'm short)! Sending back also a breeze, they gave me free international return for both the parcels. Very generous company, and I didn't even mention the clothes yet -- high quality, easy sizing, vintage feel, yet very modern at the same time. I feel like I stepped out of a Charles Dicken's novel only to find myself in some modern artist's atelier. Anyway, can't wait to try them out again :)
