Awesome atmosphere with a belter of a burger. Luckily visited the evening of some live music and had a great night. Next time I'm in Cheltenham I'll be visiting Smokey Joe's again.
We went in for milkshakes, great vibe and loads of bits of memorabilia everywhere. Some free arcade games and a large sofa in front of fire which was great on a cold day. Kids loved it too.
Smokey Joe's is a bit of a hidden gem in Cheltenham, they have a fantastic selection of food and drinks (especially milkshakes). Staff are friendly and welcoming, very short wait on food and the tables were nice and clean. There is also some old retro games which can be played as well as a more casual lounge area. Overall a great experience at Smokeys!
I went with my family for dinner after shopping. My kids (7f and 11f) loved the food and the atmosphere. They also did the treasure hunt and games while we were waiting for the food. The staff was friendly and helpful. We ordered the fried chicken waffle, kids Mac & Cheese, classic Burger and Avocado toast. We also had smoothies and shakes. They were amazing.
As a co-host at Laptop Friday, the free co-working and networking group held at Smokey Joe's every Friday morning, it's fair to say I can recommend this place! Great coffee, wonderful waffles, perfect pizzas and brilliant bagels. The retro vibe is authentic and the atmosphere is always welcoming. It's well worth finding your way off the Lower High St and into Bennington Street. You won't be disappointed!
